Ugh. Please ignore the many mistakes. I was rushing. 
If you don't know the significance of a red ribbon tied between two people; basically in Japan, it represents the invisible bond between soul mates. (If anyone who knows a little more about that wants to explain, you are better cut out for it than I am P: ) So obviously when severed, it is a very sad occasion.
Next time I'm drawing something happy. This one was a little depressing. TT_TT
(But I drew arm bands! Hurray for sexy Fire Nation Arm Bands!

I extremely enjoy you using this legend but from what I have heard of it tge red string can't break. It can be tangled, or twisted but never broken. I still am enamored the idea though.
